About

i am stay-at-home wife
mum
homeschooler
blogger
and voracious book lover

my husband Chad
and i have been happily hitched
for 17 years
and are the parents
of 4 sweet children

eight years ago
the Lord called us to educate our kids at home

homeschooling has been
the greatest challenge
and biggest blessing for our family
in the past decade

and it's something
i love to talk about

three years ago
i decided to start blogging
as a way of
recording our homeschool life

but
this blathering log
has become much more

it is the place
where i write about life
faith
decorating
food
thrifting
DIY
fashion

and whatever else suits my fancy

you may have noticed
that my writing style is a little

different

i write my posts
in what i call

prosetry

which just means prose
written to look like poetry

it may look fancy

but really
i'm just too lazy
to capitalize my letters

and it probably drives
my former teachers nuts

i'm glad you're here
and i certainly hope you'll
feel like sticking around for a bit

have a question?

email me

i try to respond to everyone

so pour another cuppa
prop up your feet
and read away
