to see howling winds
and torrential downpours
while it's been raining
for a week
the wind around here
never really roared
and we have had little damage
how did you fare?

who felt the worst of Sandy's wrath
are safe and sound
and on the mend
perhaps
spending a moment or two
enjoying some features
from last week's party
will provide
some much needed relaxation
after the tense events
of the past few days
