in the 4 1/2 years
since we moved into our home
we have been s l o w l y
redoing the bedrooms one by one
i have
of course
spent not a little time
gathering inspiration everywhere
we finished Big's room
last summer
and Little Miss's room
(photos to come soon)
during the Christmas break
next on the block is
Sy and Toot's room
and then
finally
the master bedroom
which i wrote about last year
including some photos of
pretty bedrooms for inspiration
but since then
i've honed my idea board a bit
narrowing in on a simple
grey and white theme
our bedroom
is currently wallpapered
in giant pink cabbage roses
with 'complimentary' wallpaper on the
get ready for it
ceiling
oh yeah
and i cannot wait
to strip it all down
and create a space
that is light
soothing
and
not covered in giant pick cabbage roses
here are my nominees
in the best bedroom inspiration category
(can you tell i'm writing this
whilst watching the Oscars?)

and the winner is?
i don't know
why don't you choose?

I think I see a trend here - calm, white, airy. One of the pictures even has it's own Oscar in the corner (sort of)

Deleteyou are correct

an oasis from my chaotic home!

in the corner of that photo!
Love that second bed! I'd never want to get out of it! Looking forward to seeing your makeover.
ReplyDeleteYum, the second last photo for me!!!
ReplyDelete1st photo gets my vote!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration! I love bits of each one . . . you're gonna have to smoosh then all together for one AMAZING bedroom! Can't wait to see your finished product!
ReplyDeleteAll of them beautiful! But I would get the second last too. Can't wait to get one of those tufted headboards.
ReplyDeleteI love the last one!

i am trying to think of new ideas for our bedroom. i feel like buying stuff. i love all these...all calm and serene. you will make it beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI love bedroom #4. The whitewashed floor does it for me. So clean, and yet so shabby.
ReplyDeleteNew follower here! Nice to meet you :-)
My pick is the bedroom with the black colored floor. The vivid contrast of white and black just captured my heart.
