what a week it's been
around these parts
can you believe that it's December already?
most of you know
from this post
that we lost our little doggie this week
in a tragic way
we are recovering
but my house feels a little emptier
quieter
no clicking of little paws following me around
but still
we realize at this time of year
just how much we have
to be truly thankful for
like a warm house
means to buy Christmas presents
good food
(at least, as good of as my hands can make)
healthy children
wonderful friends
both nearby and virtual
so we are choosing to see the blessings all around us
and did you know
that you all
bless me so much
every day?
it's true
i am thankful
for these times we have
to get together and just
gas
share
encourage
inspire
it happens all the time
but especially each week on

but before we get to our features
i need to announce the winner of my giveaway

the lucky winner of a $50 gift certificate to Mikarose
