welcome to the 42nd edition of

as i am writing
there are three sick children in my living room
eyes glazed with fever
rosy cheeks
stuffy noses
raspy throats
crumpled tissues scattered on the floor
i think the worst is past
and they are on the other side
of this icky virus
in between bouts of playing nurse to my offspring

this mum has had a little time to pull out
Christmas decorations!
oh yes i did
a whole week and a half before Thanksgiving
and i am not even a little bit apologetic
because once november hits
it is all about Christmas around my house
i also found moments
in between administering doses of motrin
pouring fresh drinks
concocting temping tidbits
for unhungry children
to hop on in the internet
and browse your luscious links from last week
on saturday i had to make this recipe for Crusty Italian Bread
after Cooking with K shared it here

and it was yummy and easy
i love all the coffee filter crafts i keep seeing
like these poms from Johnnie in a Dress

and this wreath made by From My Front Porch To Yours

and how cool
is this birch coffee table made by Love Where You Live?

or this West Elm stump table knock-off shared by From Gardners 2 Bergers?

you can head over to both blogs
to see step-by-step tutorials for those gorgeous and unique pieces
Low Country Living shared her Pottery Barn inspired entry table

that's a dead ringer for the catalog version
finally
Meg and Mum's created this lovely new bench
out of a simple coffee table

well done!
