what a week it's been
since last we met together here on

in my neck of the woods
we've had beautiful fall weather
warm breezes
sunny skies
lots of time outdoors
but the past few days
i haven't been able to enjoy it much
in my horror over the news coming out of Penn State
i had to mention it
but i am thankful for times
when i can escape the grim reality of local news
for just a little while
and spend some time instead
hanging out with you lovlies
here at

last week
nearly 200 wonderful posts were linked
and here are few of the highlights
from amy at The Salvage Collection
this painted console table

from sharyn at La Vie en Chic
these beautiful and meticulously decorated cookies

from jenny at Simco Street
this tour of her sister-in-law's house

from trish at Mom On Timeout
the perfect pumpkin pancake recipe

from ANTIQUECHASE
these stenciled naked book bundles

from vanessa At The Picket Fence
some refashioned rattan lamps with frenchy shades
to change up her nook

if your post was featured
be sure to grab a button

and now it's your turn
to show us what unfolded for you
this week

the rules are simple:

be sure to link back to your post and not just your url
(by joining fridays unfolded you are giving me permission
